Saturday, March 30th from 9:00a-4:00p

In a partnership with TreadLightly! the Trash Can Slam is a day of off roading fun and trail stewardship glory! Individuals and off road groups will battle it out in a fun bracket-style competition, removing garbage or debris from riding areas. Everyone who participates gets a garbage bag or two to fill and receives a free t-shirt for their efforts. 

Winners will be calculated by a panel of judges. Factors including volume of garbage collected per person, overall team effort, or team spirit, will aid in determining the winners. The off road

crew that clinches the Trash Can Slam Championship will earn a plaque displayed in the Badlands ProShop and a night ride in the park! Individual contenders will vie for a free riding pass, some sweet Badlands swag, and a coveted trash can slam trophy! 

Participants receive gloves and trash bags upon check-in at the Badlands ProShop. T-shirts are handed out when garbage bags are turned in. Trash collecting takes place anytime between 9:00a and 3:00p. Trophies and prizes are handed out at 3:00p in the ProShop. Pre-registration is not required, come in the day of!
